Description
University House Members and Guests are invited to a Natural, Organic & Bio-dynamic Wine Masterclass presented by Prof. Geoff Scollary.
Natural wines have been receiving considerable attention in the wine media and elsewhere of late. The ‘for’ and ‘against’ camps are rather vocal in their support for or rejection of wines branded as ‘natural’. The difficulty would appear to be in the interpretation of natural wine terminology that is sometimes confused with organic and bio-dynamic.
This presentation will examine the terminology in the context of grape growing and wine making practices. Wines branded in each category will be presented to illustrate the different styles.
